Testimonials

No doubt by now you've had a good look around our website and you have a good understand of what Kids After School has to offer. However, don't take our word for it. Check out these comments made by some of our clients and the children themselves.

KAS Bombay - February 2017

I would like to take this opportunity to thanks everyone involved in looking after my son – what a wonderful team you have at the Bombay centre. Tiffany, Tash and Katie are an absolute pleasure to deal with and I thank you for the love and care taken in dealing with Max over the years.

My thanks to all

KAS Waiuku

Thank you to the entire team at Kids Afterschool Care Waiuku and the Administration team.

The high level of child care and services that was offered to our daughter Jasmin (aged 8) by the warm and friendly staff during her time as well as the well thought out activities both afterschool and during school holidays provided were the best we have experienced in years.

Every staff member went out of their way to say hello and make conversation with us when we would arrive to collect our daughter, and even when we were in a hurry they would rush to help us get her bag, some days she didn’t want to leave due to how much fun she was having with the kids and activities!

The school holiday program was a great variety of activities to suit all age and participation levels – there was always something Jasmin was excited to do.

I recommend anyone who is considering KAS for assistance with before, after and school care to enrol their children in this very professional safe and stimulating environment.

Kindest regards,
Angela Van Den Bosch and Family.

KAS Waiuku

My son has been attending the Kids After School (KAS) programme for a couple of years and he has loved it! The KAS team are wonderful and have always taken great care of him - he has thoroughly enjoyed going to the before / after school + holiday programme and I have always felt like he is well taken care of. KAS also provide breakfast at before school care which was a huge plus otherwise we would never get out the door on time each morning. Would not hesitate recommending the Waiuku KAS programme / team :)

Kind Regards,
Lara Flavell

KAS Hill Programme - April 2015

It is with great pleasure that we write this testimonial for KAS, Kids after school.

We have had 2 children in KAS and recently moved to Australia so regrettably had to pull them from the program.

Our 8 year old has been in before and after school care for the past 4.5 years. We were a little skeptic at first as we were unsure as to what to expect but we were immediately set at ease on her first day of arrival (her second day of school). We were assured she would be well looked after and delivered too and from school without us having to worry about a thing. We are both busy full time workers and we found it helped us so much that the team at KAS were able to help our family out. Our daughter has grown fond of all the teachers and with their help she became a lovely young lady.

With such great success with our daughter we were not reluctant to add in our son to the program. He had been there for 1 year and has absolutely loved it. My son can be quite a handful at times and i am extremely grateful at how the team approached his behavior whether good or bad. It was helpful that we were all on the same wave and continued to work together to correct it. He has grown to such a loving, polite little man.

We also had both children enrolled in every holiday program and they looked forward to each day with a different thing to do.

We would not hesitate to recommend KAS to anybody as KAS becomes that second home and family to you and your children. Nothing is an issue and there is no problem that cant be fixed. It is very sad to leave the program as ourselves and the kids have made some great friends from it. The team are very approachable and professional and we wish Carolyn and the team a great future of helping families like they done with ours.

Sincerely
Soraya & Brad

My daughter, Caitlin has been attending Pukekohe Hill Holiday programme for over two years. We live in Waiuku and prepared to travel to the venue in Pukekohe because the programme and team are incredibly supportive.

What first caught my attention when I saw the documented programme is the detail provided. Each day outlines morning and afternoon events and with such variety. With consideration of the kids’ energy, there is a great balance between outings and activities at the school. There is never repetition and Caitlin looks forward to getting the programme each holiday and plans her days.

Carolyn encourages feedback from the children and parents alike. At the end of the holiday programme Carolyn will send out a survey requesting honest feedback and suggestions.

With large groups of kids attending this can be a challenge, the Supervisors manage this extremely well with calling the role at stages through the day and sticking with a level of discipline whilst maintaining a fun environment. I also have observed that Carolyn makes a point to change the staff midday to keep the staff energy levels and this prevents exhausted staff at the end of the day.

My main observation is that Carolyn takes pride in the programme not being a 'babysitting service' and will put the thought into keeping the variety and fun alive for the kids. A great example is the recent holiday when the weather was not looking promising for a trip to Clarks Beach. So, the plans were changed, we were notified and a trip was arranged for the movies. Caitlin was excited about seeing the new Yogi Bear movie and Carolyn sorted out the difference in payment after the holiday, without an issue.

I wish Carolyn every success with her programmes and having observed the growth to other schools – Harrisville, Bombay, Patumahoe I am absolutely convinced she can further grow the programmes without losing the uniqueness of the programme.

I would highly recommend the Pukekohe Hill programme, and would welcome to be contacted for any feedback or discussion.
