Enrol Your Child

We do have limited numbers on our programmes so be in quick. Contact us to make sure we can take your child.

If we have a place available for your child, you've made a fantastic decision to enrol them in the Kids After School programme. That's great. We're really looking forward to meeting them. All you need to do is download the form, print it out, complete it and bring it in to us at one of our afternoon programmes at Pukekohe Hill School, Harrisville School, Patumahoe School, Bombay School or Waiuku Primary.

We like having this opportunity to meet you and your child so everyone gets to know each other right from the start. Your son or daughter might even see other children they already know who attend the programme. Then, when your child comes along for their first day, they won’t be nervous because they're already familiar with us.

The paperwork is all done on the spot. Best of all, you can cross 'organise after school care' off your "to do" list. Your child will soon be having fun while you get on with your day.

A full policies and procedure document is available on request but here are some essential details to help you make a decision about enrolment.

If your child is away for any reason, we ask you to contact us by 1pm on the day so we don’t have to worry about them if they don't arrive. A text is classed as sufficient notification. If we have not been notified and your child does not arrive we will do everything to locate them and will contact you if there is a problem. Your child's safety is paramount to us.

Collecting your child

Children are only allowed to go home with people nominated on the enrolment form. If there is anyone else you have asked to collect your child at any stage, please let us know as soon as possible.

Accidents, illnesses and medication

If your child becomes ill during the programme, they will be made comfortable until you are able to come and collect them.

If a serious injury should occur, parents will be contacted immediately. If necessary your child will be taken to the nearest medical facility (Pukekohe Family Health Care on West Street in Pukekohe, Tuakau Medical Centre on George Street in Tuakau or Waiuku Medical Centre on Constable Road in Waiuku) or an ambulance will be called.

Behaviour management

Kids After School has a Behaviour Guidance Policy which will be discussed with all children at the commencement of the programme. Parents will be contacted if unacceptable behaviour is ongoing.

Kids After School has a complaints policy. If you have any issues you feel need to be raised, please do not hesitate to approach the Programme Manager or one of our Supervisors. A copy of our full complaints policy is available on request. Your child is important to us and we are only too pleased to help.
